Our Story
Rocky Mountain Glass Kayak Company was founded with one mission in mind, to create a surreal experience and provide the best kayaking experience in the entire state. To create this dream experience we had to think outside of the box and provide something that nobody else was. We started to brainstorm. Our question wasn't “What is everyone else doing, and how can we make it better," rather we asked ourselves, “What are they not doing, and what can we provide that will leave our customer with a lifelong memory and full satisfaction?" Our solution, transparent kayaks.
We had an answer, a good one.
However there's more than just a vessel involved in a great rental and tour company, location plays a large role. We searched for the best location that we could find. Factors such as water clarity, backdrop, accessibility, etc. All went into consideration. We found it, the perfect lake for rentals and tours. A small lake by the name of “Lake 5” located 30 miles outside of Kalispell and a couple of miles outside of Glacier National Park. The water is pure and the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains is truly breathtaking. Our location was then established. We could now provided the best kayaking service in the state.

Albert K.
Founder of Rocky Mountain Glass Kayak Company, Albert was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. He grew up exploring lakes, rivers, streams and everything in between. He was always drawn to the water and started kayaking at the young age of 6. By the age of 16, he was guiding his out of state friends down the Flathead River, and that's when the dream of creating his very own kayak tour and rental company was born. Years later, his dream became a reality. Rocky Mountain Glass Kayak Company is more than just another company. It's a dream come true fueled by passion and love for the outdoors. Albert's new dream is to provide a service that will inspire love for nature and leave lifelong memories - memories so vivid that you'll be able to hear, smell, and even feel once again - the tour that once-upon a time you went on.
